| 4.1.7 Presenting Information |
| Last update 08 June 2009 - FatMax |
In this topic you'll learn stuff about effective ways of presenting information - which comes in pretty useful as it's a good introduction to the kind of thing you have to do for the IT2 tasks ("Presenting Information"!!!)
| Key Points/Learning Outcomes |
You should understand that:
- that information may be presented in a range of different
formats and via different media and the need to use the
most appropriate format for the intended audience
- the nature and complexity of information, time to study,
needs of the recipient, life span.
You also need to know the use, key functions,
advantages & disadvantages
of:
• Word processing / DTP
• Presentation
• Databases
• Web authoring

| Short (and basic) set of summary notes for this topic. I'm not entirely sure where these came from. |
|
| From the same source of the above two ppts - I think this is based "loosely" on the chapter from the Doyle book. |
|
| Set of practice questions I've "borrowed" from Y Pant School - includes a number of past paper questions. |

| Very good ppt for the old OCR spec - lots of x-over with WJEC spec for this topic. From the very nice people at OCR ICT |
