4.1.7 Presenting Information
Last update 08 June 2009 - FatMax

In this topic you'll learn stuff about effective ways of presenting information - which comes in pretty useful as it's a good introduction to the kind of thing you have to do for the IT2 tasks ("Presenting Information"!!!)

Key Points/Learning Outcomes

You should understand that:

  • that information may be presented in a range of different formats and via different media and the need to use the most appropriate format for the intended audience
  • the nature and complexity of information, time to study, needs of the recipient, life span.

You also need to know the use, key functions, advantages & disadvantages of:

• Word processing / DTP
• Presentation
• Databases
• Web authoring
