Last update 20 May 2009 - FatMax

As this is a new spec. there aren't too many dedicated WJEC AS/A2 sites about at the minute - mebbee they'll all come at once??? In addition to the sites listed below you *could* also try some of the old AQA/OCR dedicated sites here

If you do use the sites below make sure you x-reference any of the material you find/use to the current WJEC. specification. You have been warned!
Sites
doyle
I *like* this. Everything you could want to know and more on one page. Make sure you bookmark this site.

The A level section of Teach-ICT has been revamped in the last year. For the new OCR spec. but still *very* useful if you look around for relevant info.

ict revision
The name literally translates to "Death to all cats" or possibly "Information technology" It's got quite a lot of stuff (mostly) for the old spec in Welsh - which is nice if you speak/read Welsh.

burgate ict
This is for the new AQA AS spec. but I like it!!! if you were relying on FatMax for stuff for the new AQA spec. go here instead. Good work Mr. Gordon Sir!

ogmore
Designed around the new WJEC spec. Most of the stuff available here can be found elsewhere. It does have a nice way of navigating the IT2 mark scheme though :)

Most of the stuff here is for the old spec BUT there's still some useful resources here - esp. for A2. Enter via the links in the top left corner.

welsh thing
A few bits and bobs for the old WJEC spec. Most of the stuff is still useful if you adapt it and/or pick out the relevant bits.

ict lifeline
Another AQA themed site - when will these people learn? The mad cursor thingy hurt my eyes after a bit but it has some useful AQA type stuff here.
I'm not the fastest dog in the west so if you know of any useful sites that should be included here drop me a line at the Fatican and I'll add them.

Stuff for Sale
McWeeney Publications
Steve McWeeney
McW Pubs
Mr. McWeeney sells stuff for the new <spit>AQA</spit> and OCR courses. It's all useable as an *extra* resource for WJEC as well. Don't rip off his stuff though or his mad Scottish half-brother, McSweeney Todd will be around to discuss payment in full!

Essntial ICT - Support CD
Doyle
Essential ICTCD
Teacher's support CD to go with the book of the same name contains digital and print-based resources

FatMax is NOT an official WJEC site - I'm just a fat dog who likes ICT! For official stuff visit www.wjec.co.uk
