5521 Scheme(s) of Work - Term 1

This outline SoW for AQA AS 5521 term 1 is based on 6x50 minutes per week. I *do* ICT3 projects using MS Access because I think it makes ICT6 easier later on (and because I like Access!!) but what do I know I'm just a dog! You can use any generic software package you want - spreadsheets seem popular for some reason? This SoW also assumes you're doing the ICT1 exam in January and that there are twelve weeks in the Autumn term - quite a lot of assumptions really!!

ICT3 Coursework continues in term 2 >>>

Xmas holidays - revising for ICT1 exam is probably a pretty good idea if there's nothing on the telly??

All page references above are to McWeeney - A-Level Notes for AQA Version 3.0; Mott & Leeming - ICT for AS Level 2nd Edition; McWeeney - Relational Database Design & Implementation (Access 2003 version); Mott & Rendell - Database Projects in Access 1st Edition.

If you're using inferior textbooks by <deleted on advice of lawyers> just cross out the page numbers above and add your own with a big crayon.

Max sat

Disclaimer thingy at the bottom of the page that nobody bothers to read! FatMax has no official association, real or imaginary, with AQA. The only <cough> *reliable* </cough> source of AQA info is www.aqa.org.uk  The rather spiffing FatMax pics are by Adam Kirkton. This page last updated 01/09/05 by a starving dog held at gunpoint.
